Sponsorship
At HRSSI, we assist refugee sponsorship groups by guiding them through the entire process, from preparing and submitting applications to the Government of Canada, to monitoring their progress. We facilitate partnerships between HRSSI members, local community sponsors, and sponsor groups, ensuring effective settlement for both refugees and newcomers. Our aim is to overcome barriers such as family reunification and delays in privately sponsored refugees. By offering individualized attention, we work to help refugees establish themselves in Canada successfully.
03
Translation & Interpretation
We offer professional translation and interpretation services in multiple settings, including private, public, and government environments. These services help refugees and immigrants navigate essential services, ensuring clear communication when accessing healthcare, education, legal services, and other critical needs. We also assist in filling out important forms and documents to ensure accuracy and timeliness.
02
Workshops & Seminars
HRSSI provides a variety of workshops and seminars to support refugees and immigrants in their settlement journey. These include training sessions for youth, women, and seniors on topics like education, health, employment, and career options. Additionally, we offer community orientation programs that familiarize newcomers with essential services and life skills. Our workshops also serve to connect them with social and cultural groups, helping them build their networks in Canada.
04
Legal and Employment Aid
HRSSI helps newcomers understand their rights and responsibilities as permanent residents, providing essential support in legal matters. We offer assistance in accessing services like English or French language classes, form filling for government and social services, and securing employment opportunities. Our goal is to empower newcomers by providing the resources and guidance they need to integrate fully into Canadian society.
